Snowboarding
In high school and college I lived to snowboard- nothing else compared to the relentless desire to excel. As seniors in high school , Kelton and I would leave every Friday at noon and head for the hills (3 hour drive). Most of the time not knowing where we would stay that night. My Friday night lights were not on the football field, but on the slopes of Boreal. As I got older the sponsors came (thanks Joyride and Billabong) after I won the Amateur Nationals for 18-22 yrs. old. Today I still love to snowboard, Heli skiing Alaska was simply mind-blowing, and this same drive that I discovered in snowboarding has carried to many other facets in my life. |
