Palomar Mt. State Park    ( Southern California)

Decided to take a daytrip up to the nearby Palomar Mt. State Park.  It was a cool crisp morning and I headed Northeast from San Diego.  My hands were cold as I walked around the park with my camera, a snack, and water.  I did not pass one person as I hiked the trails though out the park.

I ate lunch in this meadow, it was calm and cold.  It felt good to get moving again to stay warm.

I spotted this hole that must have been left by the Indians that lived here not long ago.

Looking West from Palomar you could see the ocean on the horizen.  The park felt alot like Northern CA with its grassy meadows and forested hillsides.
